When I say singular, I am referring to the fact that it doesn’t have any other use other then as a treatment product that targets ridding the skin of acne, as compared to a dual product like acne fighting face washes, or acne fighting lotions that target the acne as well as preform a service to the skin like cleansing or moisturizing.

This acne gel has 2 active ingredients.

• Salicylic Acid- fights acne by sloughing off dead skin cells, killing bacteria found in the skin, cleaning out the pores, removes clogging debris, cuts sebum off of the skin and increases the bodies ability to make new and healthier cells.

I personally do not like or suggest singular treatments to people. When you buy a dual treatment you know the quality of the moisturizer or cleanser is the same and has the same goal as the singular product.

Charcoal- this is one of the ingredients that has been used in Japan for centuries as a skin clearing agent. I don’t think you will be dissapointed with this acne fighting lotion when it comes to its results. From what I can tell Dr. Gross is great at making treatments abd skin care regimines that work. The ingredietns are all spot on when it comes to clearing up acne.

I do think that just because this product seems to be good it doesn’t mean it is the cure all, I think that there are a lot of other great acne fighting creams and lotions out there that work even better then this lotion. If this was a product you had your heart set on then I wouldn’t tell you not to get it, but if you are still in the market, I would consider shopping around a lttle bit for a product that offers both acne fighting ingredients and other skin beautifying ingredients.

I am really quite of the fence about this acne kit. It seems great in some reguards, I love the ingredients and the fact they they offer a tonic and a spot treatment gel!
